Shed Moving

As you can see, the shed has been moved successfully. My lovely assistant has still not managed to repair the door and frame. We are trying to create a small patio area so that we have somewhere to sit and have a cup of tea.

This shot was taken from our neighbours plot. You can see our broadbeans under their covers.

This is my lovely assistant, digging, digging, digging away getting ready to install another of our raised beds. We have found that the previous tennants of this plot have scraped the couch grass from the other side of our plot and piled it on top of wood, bamboo canes, hoes and lots of meshing. It has been a very difficult time trying to clear this area and it is not at all level.

This is just some of the wood etc that we have dug out of the above area. The blue barrel you can see is a water butt.

This is the pile of Couch that we have cleared only to find the above wood etc. It has been a very long and hard task, in fact it is still not finished! We are not sure whether to burn all this or just cover it in black plastic for a few years. I think it will depend on the weather at the time we make the decision.
