Seeds are Sown

I have spent some time sowing some of my seeds. So far there are: Celeriac, Leeks and Tomatoes. I have still got lots more to sow, but not yet. This year I decided to get organised and I went to B&Q and bought a set of black plastic shelving to put in the Conservatory. Being black they hold the heat from the sun (when it shines) and it doesn't show any specks of soil. They fold down when I have finished with them so they can be stored in the loft for next year. In fact, I may buy some more to put in the loft to store Christmas decorations on which will clear the floor area.
As you can see, I use Icecream containers to grow seeds in as they are deeper than seed trays. I just drill some holes in the bottom and I use discarded oven trays to stand them on.

I hope you like my idea!

That looks like a great solution! I can clear some space in the lounge and have this in the front bay window. I've been saving plastic packaging trays to put pots on but wishing I'd kept some old oven trays now!
