Before After
Well, it has been a lovely week and I got into the swing of things and took myself to the Allotment with my spade earlier last week. I managed to dig over an area that was previously covered in black plastic for 2 years. It was an easy dig, which was lucky for me as I cannot manage the area covered in couch and brambles.
I have heard about a French tool called a Mattock, so when we go to France for our holiday in June, I will see if I can find one to try and possibly buy. It must make life easier and less stressful on the back.
Well it took me 2 hours in total to dig this patch and remove all the large stones. I hope that you approve. I now have 2 rows of carrotts put in on the left hand side with many more veggies to follow.
